Bage, Albert (1867-1944)
Family
Albert was born on 16 April 1867 at Sheffield, Yorkshire, to parents William, a steelworker (1871), and Mary Ann. Before entering the ministry Albert worked as a general labourer. The 1891 census records him as a student of theology & assistant PM minister. The 1911 census records Albert as a Congregational minister at Romsey, Hampshire.
He married Elizabeth Starforth (abt1867-1937) in the summer of 1895 in the Auckland Registration District, Co. Durham. Census returns identify two children.
- William Reginald (1897-1974) – a chemist (1944)
- Doris Elizabeth (1903-1943)
Albert died on 19 February 1944 at Ipswich, Suffolk.
