The 1851 census identifies Joseph Bradley, a PM minister born in Houghton le Spring, Co. Durham, abt1827. Unfortunately there were two Joseph Bradley’s born in Houghton le Spring around that time. Both were in Stockton, Co. Durham from 1861 onwards and both died in the mid/late 1880’s. Both appear to have married in the summer/late 1854. This could have been a trigger for leaving the ministry. One was a locomotive fireman and the other an auctioneer and valuer.
I am not able to identify which had been the PM minister. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
