Burman, Reginald (1905-1970)


Reginald was born on 14 November 1905 at Grimsby, Lincolnshire, to parents John Edward, a foreman shunter (1911), and Elizabeth.

Reginald travelled to his first missionary appointment on the ship “Warwick Castle” leaving Southampton on 14 September 1934.

He arrived back in Liverpool on board the ship “Andes” on 6 October 1944, along with wife Constance Mabel (b  abt1909), and children Stephen (b abt1939), Bruce Garfield (b abt 1942) and John Frank (b abt 1943).

After leaving the PM ministry, Reginald became an Anglican clergyman.

Reginald died on 17 April 1970 at Pilloxhill, Bedfordshire.
