Ball, William (1816-1884)
William was born in 1816 at Dublin, Ireland. He left Ireland in early boyhood and was converted aged 16 in Liverpool.
Ministry
William resigned during his first stationing at Preston, but returned to the itinerant work three years later under the direction of the General Mission Committee. He went to Lisburn and witnessed much suffering during the potato famine of 1846/7.
Family
William married Alice Salthouse (1812-1887) in 1855 in the Fylde Registration District, Lancashire.
William died on 28 January 1884 at Fleetwood, Lancashire.
