Family
This was probably Edward Cox who was born in 1821 at Braile, Warwickshire, to parents William, a tailor, and Sarah. He was baptised on 30 December 1821 at Braile.
After leaving the ministry, Edward worked as a tailor and draper and continued as a local preacher.
He married Sarah Walden (1815-1876) in late 1845 at Hornton, Oxfordshire. Census returns identify one child.
- Emma Sarah (1851-1881) – married Augustus Elliott, a grocer & draper, in 1877
He married Harriet Harris (1947-1878) in the spring of 1877 at Aston, Warwickshire. They had one child.
- Sarah Ann Harris (1878-1943) – married George Henry Mander, a cabinet maker, in 1899
He married Mary Ann Hardy (1838-1907) in late 1878 at Aston, Warwickshire.
Edward died in late 1903 at Neithrop, nr Banbury,, Oxfordshire.
