Family
James was born in late 1867 at Braintree, Essex, to parents William Everitt, a railway engine driver (1901), and Lavinia Mould.
The 1891 census records James as a theological student at the Manchester Theological College.
He married Harriet Serena Seymour (abt1868-1949) whilst in Australia. Records identify eight children.

The family returned to Australia circa 1907.
James died on 2 March 1943 at Graceville, Queensland, Australia.
