Featon, Thomas (1876-1941)

Family

Thomas was born on 11 December 1876 at Thurmaston, Leicestershire, to parents Robert, a framework knitter, and Mary Ann. He was baptised on 1 February 1877.

The 1891 census return records Thomas as an osier sorter and in 1901 he is a theological student for the PM ministry.

He married Eleanor Rathbone (1885-1953) on 21 August 1906 at Bradshawgate PM Chapel, Leigh, Lancashire.

In the 1939 register, Thomas is recorded as a wholesaler of hairdressing sundries. 

Thomas died open 2 August 1941 at Atherton, Lancashire, although his permanent address was in Golders Green, London.
