Greening, Gilbert Royden (1903-1984)

Family

Gilbert was born on 27 July 1903 at Bristol, Gloucestershire, to parents William Ewart Greening, an advertising representative (1911), and Jane Ellen. He was baptised on 14 August 1903 at St Francis, Bedminster, Ashton Gate, Somerset.

Gilbert was ordained as a Church of England Deacon in June 1938, and as a priest the following June.

He married Evelyn (Eva) M. Beckett in the summer of 1931 at Shrewsbury, Shropshire. Birth records identify three children.

Gilbert died in the summer of 1984 at Ludlow, Shropshire.
