Greenwood, Elijah (1834-1908)

Family

Elijah was born on 31 January 1834 at Preston, Lancashire, to parents Paul Greenwood and Mary Vickers. He was baptised on 9 March 1834 at Paul Street Primitive Methodist Chapel, Preston.

Elijah worked as a cotton piecer before entering the ministry (1851).

He married Jane Dalton (abt1831-1905) on 4 July 1860 at Nenthead, Alston, Cumberland.

Elijah died on 1 August 1908 at Brisbane, Queensland.
