Moses Armon Harvey was appointed Chaplain to Seamen in Newport, Monmouthshire in 1860. At which point he still appears to have been a Methodist. He then transferred to the Congregationalists serving as follows:
1861 Hay on Wye, Brecknockshire
1863 Maesyrenen, Radnorshire
1866 Hay on Wye
1869 Caerleon
The 1871 Census finds him in Caerleon as a Minister.
His death is recorded in the 3rd Quarter of 1879 in Newport Registration District, which would include Caerleon.
