Kelley, Stephen (1840-1918)

Family

Stephen was born abt1840 at Gwennap, St Day, Cornwall, to parents Joseph, a lead miner, and Mary.

Census returns identify the following occupations for Stephen.

• 1851 lead dresser
• 1861 PM minister
• 1871 PM minister
• 1881 medical electrician and consulting mesmerist
• 1891 phrenologist
• 1911 retired minister

He married Sarah Ann Durrant (b abt1825) in the summer of 1864 in West London.  Census returns identify one child.         

• Kathleen (b abt1876)

He married Susan Walker (1856-1922)  circa 1906. I have not been able to identify the marriage record.

Stephen died in the spring of 1918 at Macclesfield, Cheshire.
