Nassau, John (1834-1868)

Family

John was born in 1834 at Winterton, Lincolnshire, to parents George, a gardener (1851), and Ann. He was baptised on 14 December 1834 at Winterton.

Before entering the ministry, John also worked as a gardener (1851). He left the ministry due to ill health.

He married Elizabeth Humble (1835-1866) in late 1860 in the Hemlsley Registration District, Yorkshire. Census returns identify one child.  

• John Pool (1862-1896) – a medical student (1881); died in Australia

John died on 10 November 1868 at Kirbymoorside, Yorkshire.
