Pearce, Stephen (1842-1872)

Family

Stephen was born abt1842 at Deopham, Norfolk, to parents Stephen Pearce, who worked the land, and Margaret Bale.  He was baptised on 3 December 1843 at Deopham.

Stephen also worked the land before entering the ministry. After leaving the PM ministry, Stephen transferred to the Baptist ministry.

He married Alice Webb (abt1848-1886) in the spring of 1869 in the Kettering Registration District, Northamptonshire. of Liverpool

• Ferdinand (1869-1945) – an iron moulder (1911); a retired store keeper (1939)
• Margaretta (1870-1876)

Stephen died in late 1872 at Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire.

Alice married John Webb in 1876.
