Research Notes

The only Charles R Plank I have found in online records was Charles Rhodes Plank, born abt1842 at Devizes, Wiltshire to parents Charles Rhodes Plank, a builder, and Selina Palmer. He was baptised on 26 August 1942 at Southbroom, Bishop’s Cannings, Devizes.

Census returns identify the following occupations for Charles.

• 1861 banker’s clerk
• 1871 blank manager

Charles died in late 1879 at Christchurch, Hampshire.
