Predgen, John Hayes (1807-1860)

Family

John was born abt1807 Surfleet, Lincolnshire, to parents Joshua and Mary. He was baptised on 25 April 1908 at Surfleet.

In the 1841 census return, John is at leek, Staffordshire, described as a preacher. The 1851 census return records John and a Baptist minister and schoolmaster at Orcop, Hereford.

He married Hannah Vaughan Burgwin (abt1820-1866) in the spring of 1844 in the Hereford Registration District, Herefordshire.

John died in late 1860 in the Hereford Registration District, Herefordshire.
