Roscamp, Robert George (1845-1936)

Family

Robert was born on 20 December 1845 at Haswell, Co. Durham, to parents Thomas, a cool miner, and Mary. He was baptised on 12 July 1846 at Tynemouth, Northumberland.

Before entering the ministry Robert was a coal miner (1861 & 1871). He emigrated to the United States in 1877 where he was a Presbyterian minister.

He married Mary Jane Johns (1848-1933) on 23 June 1877 in New York, USA. Census returns identify one child.

• Joseph Thomas (1880-1935) – a mail carrier (1910)

Robert died on 6 April 1936 ay New Castle, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania, USA.
