Sharp, Joseph (1849-1916)

Primitive Methodist Magazine 1905

Joseph was born on 12 March 1849 at Maidstone, Kent, to parents Joseph Sharp, a clerk at a paper factory (1861), and Emma Elizabeth Head.

He married Henrietta Clarke (1859-1956) on 8 August 1879.

Joseph arrived in New Zealand on 11 December 1873 with Rev. W. Tinsley. He was President of the NZ PM Conference in 1889 and 1905.

Joseph died on 15 August 1916 at Auckland, New Zealand.
