Family

Boaz was born on 21 October 1804 at Shefford. He died on 5 July 1859.

He married Elizabeth White, daughter of James and Sarah White, farmers at Stratton St Margaret, Wilts, on 30 June 1836 at Hannington. Elizabeth was born on 19 November 1816 and died in Belper on 16 February 1837.

He then married Ann Squance, second daughter of Robert Squance on 30 Jun 1838. They had six children.

  • John – born abt 1839 in Swansea
  • Rhoda Ann (1841-1843)
  • Lydia – born abt 1843 in Bottesford, Leicestershire
  • Miriam (1845-1928) – born at Lincoln; married Charles Harrison, a PM Minister in 1876
  • Ebenezer Robert – (1849-1896) – a PM Minister
  • Jabez McDonald (1851-1910)
