Tansom, William C (b1837)

Family

William was born in May 1837 at Southampton, Hampshire, to parents William D Tansom, who worked the land (1841), and Sarah.

Before entering the ministry William was a mason’s labourer (1861). He emigrated to USA in 1865 and continued as a minister.

He married Lizzie M Dude (b abt1855) on 25 December 1874 at Tamworth, New Hampshire.

He married Nancy M Bean (1837-1919) on 24 February 1899 at Effingham, New Hampshire, USA. This was Nancy’s third marriage.
