Family
William was born abt1848 at Digswellwater, Hertfordshire, to parents William Tinsley and Ann Button. He was baptised on 27 February 1848 at Welwyn, Hertfordshire.
He married Beulah Anna Moore (1848-1913) in the summer of 1873 in the Portsea Island Registration District, Hampshire. She died on the day after William. Family Trees on ancestry.com record three children.
William died on 25 August 1913 at Levin. Horowhenua, Manawatu-Wanganui, New Zealand
