Truss, David George (1859-1945)

Family

David was born on 15 January 1859 at Marlow, Buckinghamshire, to parents David Truss, a carpenter, and Eliza Coventry.

He married Evageline Home (1856-1937) in late 1880 in the Thame Registration District, Oxfordshire. Census returns identify seven children.

  • Cecil Coventry (1890-1929) – a clothing shop assistant (1911); a salesman in San Francisco (1920)

  • Eveline Olga (1896-1986) – married Alvara Hartley, managing director of clay roofing tile company (1939), in 1920
  • Charles Peter Allen (1900-1965)

David died on 6 June 1945 at Reading, Berkshire.
