Waite, John William (1850-1902)

Family

John was born on 10 July 1851 at Trimdon, Co. Durham.

The family emigrated to USA in 1892 where John continued to work asa minister.

He married Mary Grange (1854-1917) in late 1874 in the Auckland Registration District, Co. Durham Census returns identify four children.

• Florence Russell (1875-1955) – married Linus Burr Smith, a furniture dealers clerk (1900), in 1898
• John William (1877-1894)     
• Alice Mary (1879-1943) – a school teacher (1900); married a Richardson            
• Percy Edgar (1885-1930) – a salt company commercial traveller (1920)        

John died on 4 July 1902 at Minneapolis, Kansas, USA
