The only potential candidate I have identified in online records is Matthew Wasey born abt1825 at South Creake, Norfolk, to parents Thomas and Mary. He was baptised on 14 March 1825 at South Creake.
He was an apprentice tailor in 1841 and later census returns identify him as a tailor in his native place,
He married Maria Sharpe (1827-1874) in the spring of 1855 in the Docking Registration District, Norfolk. This date corresponds to him leaving the ministry.
Matthew died on 17 April 1886 at South Creake, Norfolk.
