Family
Thomas was born on 11 January 1829 at Brotherton, Yorkshire, to parents Richard, a labourer (1841), and Elizabeth. He was baptised on 15 February 1829 at St Edward the Confessor, Brotherton.
Thomas’ marriage certificate gives his occupation as secretary. The family emigrated to USA in 1860 where Thomas worked as a minister at Wilmington, Essex County , New York State.
He married Amelia Elizabeth Thompson (1838-1883) on 11 April 1854 at St Bartholomew, Edgbaston, Warwickshire. Census returns identify that Thomas and Amelia had a large family.
Thomas died on 7 August 1909 in Wilmington, Essex County, New York, USA
