Research notes

This was possibly John Wonfer (Wonfor) born on 7 December 1813 at Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, to parents William, a blacksmith, and Martha.

Census returns record John as a tailor.

He married Martha Ann Corey (1817-1885) in early 1841 in the Leicester Registration District. Census returns identify eight children.

John died in October 1882.
