Wood, William (1861-1941)

Family

William was born on 26 September 1861 at Shipley, Yorkshire, to parents Thomas Wood, a tailor, and Ann Barker. His brother, Thomas, was also a PM minister.

Before entering the ministry William worked as a tailor.

He married Mary Elizabeth (1865-1960).

William died on 20 January 1941 at Southbourne, Bournemouth, Hampshire.
