Transcription of obituary published in the Primitive Methodist Magazine by J.W.W.

Bristol Fifth Circuit has lost a well-known and highly respected official in Mr. A. F. Yeadon. He was a son of The Manse (second son of the late Rev. W. and Mrs. Yeadon, whose ministry was exercised in the Eastern Counties), born February 16th, 1855, at Rockland, in Norfolk, educated at Elmfield under Rev. J. Petty, he entered the Primitive Methodist ministry in 1879, travelled on the Clayton West, Leeds First, and Malton Circuits, then for family reasons returned to business.

An ardent worker in the co-operative movement for thirty years at St. Ives, Colchester, India, and Frampton Cotterell. In the latter place he worked as a Local Preacher, trustee and Teacher. A public speaker of considerable ability, he was always welcome in the pulpit, on the platform, in the class and at the business meeting.

The funeral was conducted by Revs. J. Williams and J. Wilkinson. On the following Sabbath a largely attended and very impressive memorial service was conducted by Rev. J. Williams, assisted by Messrs. T. Newman and W. Alsop, sen.
