We tender to you our hearty welcome as now you gather in our midst for your sessions.
Ten years ago the Synod was held in this town and of that time many cherish pleasant and uplifting memories, and now with the same spirit of Christian love we welcome you.
We have been looking forward to your visit and trust the arrangements we have made for your comfort will be satisfactory. Not only our own people but members of other Churches have graciously offered hospitality for delegates, and in return for their kindness we trust they will receive some spiritual gift and grace,
We pray for the guidance of God in all your deliberations, and for the Divine blessing upon all your decisions concerning the work of the Kingdom of God and the Church of Christ.
