My father Colin Bull was born in 1920, and is the small boy in the arms of his aunt Lilian Forrester, daughter of Samuel Forrester of Denstone, Staffordshire. All the family attended Stubwood Chapel and later in his life my father recalled the excitement of the Sunday School outings to Field Head Farm, at Combridge, the home of Tom Blood and his sister Nellie. The children and teachers made the journey sitting on forms perched on a flat bed horse drawn cart. No safety regulations in those days!
More information about Stubwood Chapel can be found in the Chapels pages.
