Swindon Centenary Synod Handbook 1925

The Souvenir Official handbook of the Brinkworth and Swindon District Synod, held in Swindon from April 28th to May 3rd 1910 to celebrate the Centenary of the Primitive Methodist church includes advertisements aimed at the local Primitive Methodist market.  One such was inserted by Mr P Webb , the organist of Clifton Street chapel advertising his services as performer and teacher.  He may well have been a man of energy because by 1931 Clifton Street boasted a brand new organ.
