In the 1869 Primitive Methodist magazine, Frederick Smith tells us about three new chapels that have opened at Corna, Ballalheigh and Kirk Michael, all in the Peel branch of the Ramsey circuit.
At Ballalheigh they had been preaching in a cottage for many years, but took a building at a nominal rent on a twelve year lease. The congregations increased “and we are looking for a revival”.
