This chapel was in the Cheadle PM circuit and the photograph is taken from a glass slide in the collection at Englesea Brook Museum. It dates from c.1915-35.

Comments about this page

This tiny stone built chapel sits between cottages in the main street. According to the plaque over the porch it was erected in 1822. On the south side a plaque has the date 1843 presumably indicating some refurbishment. The porch was added much later in 1934. The chapel gives every indication of being closed but the lady next door said that worship continues there every three weeks. The photos that we have added were taken on April 13th 2013.
