Holbeach Primitive Methodist chapel

By Christopher Hill

The Primitive Methodist magazine for 1834 contains an account by William Hardwick of the opening of Holbeach Primitive Methodist chapel.

Opening services took place on 05/06/1834 & 08/06/1834 when the preachers were Bro Williamm Paddison + others. The first stone was laid by Mrs Brown who also gave £5. Mr Flint the builder gave £50 and Mr Pennington (farmer) £5.

Do you know where this chapel was?  I can't see it on early Ordnance Survey maps.  The current Methodist church is on a former United Methodist site and the Wesleyans had a chapel in Chapel Street.
