Fen Ditton Primitive Methodist chapel

The 1881 Primitive Methodist magazine contains a note of the opening of a pretty little village chapel at Fen Ditton in the Cambridge circuit. It took them twenty years to achieve their own chapel, but they got there in the end and raised more than half of the money too.

The 1903 Ordnance Survey map shows a Primitive Methodist chapel on the south side of what is now High Ditch Road, just east of the junction with Ditton Lane. It’s not possible to distinguish the building on Street View in 2014
