The current (2024) St Neot’s Road Methodist chapel is a former Primitive Methodist chapel. In 2024 it retains the words “Primitive Methodist 1910” carved on its front. It is located on the western side of St Neots Road opposite Engayne Avenue.
The chapel is included in the 1940 inventory of Methodist Buildings. It tells us that the building was brick, seated 150 people on pews, and had a Sunday School and one other rooms in addition to the main hall. It was in the Bedford Caudwell Street Mission.

Thanks for the correction David. Can you add to the story?
The word ‘Road’ has been missed off in the first line. It should read ‘St. Neots Road Methodist Chapel.
