The 1940 inventory of Methodist Buildings tells us that there was a former Primitive Methodist chapel in Stewartby. Built of iron, it seated 50 people on forms, and had no other rooms in addition to the main hall. It was in the Caudwell Street Bedford circuit.
I am unable to find the chapel on historic Ordnance Survey maps. Where was it and what’s the story?
