Oldbury Primitive Methodist chapel on Green Street is included in the Inventory of Methodist buildings compiled after Methodist Union in 1932 and published in 1940. At that time it was in the Oldbury circuit and recorded under the name of Oldbury Green.
The chapel is described as brick built and was quite small, seating 220 people on pews. There were no rooms other than the main hall. Green Street still exists with pre-war semi detached housing on its eastern side. The chapel was on the western side which has been completely redeveloped; Storage Giant is on the site from 2009.
