The Primitive Methodists have also a Chapel here which was formed out of a cottage in 1870. Ref: Bulmer’s Directory of the East Riding of Yorkshire 1892

The OS Map surveyed in 1889 shows both the Primitive and Wesleyan Methodist chapels. The Primitive Methodist Chapel is not on the 1909 OS Map.
