Misterton Central Primitive Methodist chapel originally dates from around 1821 and served until 1963.

The Co-op shop in Keith Guyler's photograph was identified by him as the former Primitive Methodist chapel. In fact, the chapel stood next door to it on what is now the carpark.

On Google Street View in 2009 the Co-op shop has become the Misterton Centre.
