Monks Coppenhall Primitive Methodist chapel

Monks Coppenhall: Return from the Primitive Methodist chapel in the 1851 Census of Places of Public Religious Worship
transcribed by David Tonks

The Return from the Primitive Methodist society at Monks Coppenhall in the 1851 Census of Places of Public Religious Worship says that they met in a  chapel built in 1844. The society was a vigourous one, with attendances of 220 at both afternoon and evening services.  That was almost filling the chapel’s 250 capacity.

The return was completed by Samuel Heath, the Steward of West View.

Where was this chapel and what happened to it?
