Thanks to Pat Donnor for researching Dunsdale Primitive Methodist Chapel.
This chapel was located in a 19th century village built for iron mining purposes. It is not marked on the OS Map 1893 but it is on the OS Maps 1913 and 1927. Hence it was built after 1893. The 1940s Methodist Statistical Returns record it as brick built and seating 60 persons on forms. It was in the Salton and Guisborough circuit.
In 2023 it is a house named Chapel House.
There are no other chapels in the village, although there was St Oswald’s Mission Church which was iron built.
