Choppington chapel; Northumbrian Methodist Childhood
Choppington Chapel
J S Murray
Memoirs
My father, Victor Murray, was the last Vice President of the Primitive Methodist Conference before Methodist union. In later life he wrote of his childhood memories of events around the chapel and these were eventually published by the Northumberland library. It is still available via Amazon.
I’ll attach a picture of the opening page. The original of the illuminated address is held in the archives of Northumberland CC.
