Young, Edwin (1839-1925)

Edwin was born abt1839 at Mixbury, Oxfordshire, to parents John Young, a farmer, and Sarah Jane Wood. He was baptised on 15 February 1841 at Steeple Barton, Oxfordshire.

Census returns identify the following occupations for Edwin.

• 1871 town missionary at Macclesfield
• 1881 visitor of the poor & student of divinity at Berkhampstead
• 1891 home missionary – retired – at Battersea, London
• 1901 retired missionary
• 1911 retired home missionary

Edwin died on 16 February 1925 at Battersea, Surrey.
