Dalbury Lees Primitive Methodist chapel

Dalbury Lees Primitive Methodist chapel in the Derby circuit opened on April 10th 1836. Preachers at the opening were Bros. Hallam & Carthy. W Antliff tells us about it in the Primitive Methodist magazine.

The Prims had preached in this hamlet for 18 years and then Mr Redshaw sold them a small plot of land.   Local farmers gave help with building.

The new chapel measured 17′(w) x  21′(l) and was the only place of worship in the area.

I can’t see a Primitive Methodist chapel on Ordnance Survey maps of the 1880s.  Where was the chapel and what happened to the society?
