Branston Primitive Methodist Chapel, Staffordshire

Branston is a village near to Burton on Trent- most famous for its pickle.

Records show a PM society from 1823, and houses were registered for worship in 1824 and 1832. Formal worship appears to have been discontinued until 1892, and in 1896 when a chapel at the southern end of Main Street was opened. It was part of the Burton on Trent Mosley Street circuit and had seating for 50 on benches.

Worship ceased in the 1930’s and the building was subsequently demolished.
