Ollis, Frederick William (1877-1970)

Family

Frederick was born on 28 March 1877 at Leicester, Leicestershire, to parents Edwin Ollis, a hatter (1891), and Eliza Gibson.

Frederick worked as a felt hatter before entering the ministry (1891)

He emigrated to USA arriving in New York on 5 July 1910. He transferred to the Congregational ministry in America.

He married Annie Louise Fry (1885-1936) in the summer of 1906 in the Bristol registration District, Gloucestershire. Records identify three children.

• Kenneth Frederick (1907-1988) – a teacher (1957)
• Elmer Leslie (1912-1912)
• Leslie Edwin (1913-1988)

He married Anna G Huson (1875-1955) on 4 July 1937 at Manclona, Antrim, Michigan.

He married Jenolga Cooley, nee Douglas (1891-1972) on 3 July 1956 at Clay, Florida.

Frederick died on 16 April 1970 at Penney Farms, Clay County, Florida, USA.
