Hebden Primitive Methodist chapel

The opening of Hebden Primitive Methodist chapel is recorded in the Primitive Methodist magazine.  The chapel was in the Grassington branch of the Silsden circuit.

Opening celebrations started on 17th October 1838 and the speakers included Bro James McPherson, Mr Joshua Lockwood, Bro R Hill and Bro Thomas Butcher, who wrote the account.

The chapel measured 30′(l) x 18′(w).

A Prim chapel is marked  on Ordnance Survey maps in 1890 and 1909.  I cannot identify the building on Street View.
