Abthorpe, Banbury Road Primitive Methodist Chapel, Northamptonshire

Abthorpe, Banbury Road Primitive Methodist Chapel was built in 1925 and expected to cost £1200. The press report of the stone laying in July gives a useful account of the Abthorpe chapels and is reproduced here. In 1940 it was reported that the chapel provided 96 sittings in pews and that there was also a schoolroom
