The 1851 Census of Public Places of Religious Worship contains a report for Bromham Primitive Methodist chapel. The report was completed by Moses Breach, a farmer of Chittoe near Chippenham.
The chapel was opened in 1840, seated 150, and the average attendance was 150 with 40 scholars in the Sunday School

This is now Bromham Methodist Church, near the top of Church Hill in Bromham. The chapel is reported to date back to 1799. It is identified as Primitive Methodist on the early OS maps and is still in use, now part of the Wiltshire United Area.
