Sherburn is a small village in the Ryedale District of Yorkshire’ The Primitive Methodist Chapel has long gone.
In the first photo an arrow is pointing to the chapel. The photo was taken during a flood in 1910. The other photos show the same site in 2017.

My Spouse~Sylvia Grace Paul -ne Pinder was born in Sherburn-1944 and has many happy memories of attending this Chapel many times as a youngster -in particular Nativity and film evenings-
The old photo shows a large tree behind the church-when we were courting we used to spend time chatting under that tree prior to our marriage in 1964-so a location full of lovely memories now we are both in our over 80yrs

In your Photo of this Chapel in the background a large tree-in our first years prior to marriage in 1964 Sylvia as a child climbing this tree with her Brothers and Buddies-following when I met Sylvia-she was 15 yrs0she used to take me when I met her in the evenings at Sherburn to have”Adventures With Her” under this tree-a real memory Tree for us then youngsters in LOVE-so-60 yrs later we are still here on this wonderful Planet-early this year we retook our Wedding Vows on the Amazon River-in Manaus,Brazil-a amazing-emotional experience
So-Life Goes On for this long time old WARD Boyxx🥹😇😌🧐
